Assembly-Line Painting
Finalizing the color scheme to the Kabal of the Fursaken recently took an odd turn. While the colors and treatments have all been selected at this point, I found myself spending an inordinate amount of time planning an army-wide assembly-line plan of attack.

Time to get out my paints.
This weekend I finished building the last model for my Skaven / Dark Eldar army project, and spent Monday afternoon priming everything. My glue, pin vices and exacto blades are returning to their storage shelves, and my paints are returning to the desk.

Mold release is the nemesis of the resin hobby project. With the ability to make an expensive and beautiful model utterly unpaintable, it is to be feared and respected. However, can an over-abundance of mold release be misdiagnosed?
