Hobby Update

Hey all.  Been a while since I have updated the blog, but honestly, I have been holding out for the completion of my current project.

Assembly-Line Painting

Finalizing the color scheme to the Kabal of the Fursaken recently took an odd turn.  While the colors and treatments have all been selected at this point, I found myself spending an inordinate amount of time planning an army-wide assembly-line plan of attack.

The Goatboy Strikes Back

The oft-maligned Goatboy, of Space Goat fame, has just completed the graphic for the Sabol miniature case that I am assigning to my Kabal of the Fursaken.  Pretty sweet, eh?

Painted Skaven / Dark Eldar Prototype

Locking-down a color scheme is not always easy, but luckily I have a test-market known as "the internets".

This weekend I finished building the last model for my Skaven / Dark Eldar army project, and spent Monday afternoon priming everything.  My glue, pin vices and exacto blades are returning to their storage shelves, and my paints are returning to the desk.

I could never check one of my army collections with an airline.  I would be angry to lose some favorite clothing, but the thousands of hours poured into an army?  That would be unthinkable!
