Metal Bloodcrushers and Conversions: How to spend two weeks on eight models.

With last summer's release of the plastic Bloodcrusher kit, I found several weeks of my work to be invalidated.  Months before the second wave of Chaos Daemons, I spent quite a while repositioning all eight of my own metal Bloodcrushers.  While I am happy with my work, I don't think I would have made this effort had I known plastic models were just around the corner...

Pre-2nd Wave Release "The Changeling"

The Tzeentchian special character known as The Changeling, received a model this past summer.  The model pictured above, was my own take on the daemon from before that 2nd wave release.

Vraksian Baneblade

The Baneblade super-heavy tank is often the centerpiece of a proper Imperial Guard collection.  In building my own Baneblade, I wanted to make sure the large-sized model had an appropriate amount of detail to serve as a true “keystone”.

The Chaos Daemons codex certainly does include a great number of HQ units that do not have models to represent them on the battlefield.  Once more into the breach!
